The Music of Father's House

Jeff and Jamie met around 1986 doing jingles at a local recording studio in Mobile, Alabama.  They formed a band called Newman and produced an album entitled Children of His Kingdom in the late 80’s (not officially released). They are back together as Father’s House and currently releasing singles from their second album titled Majestic.  Last year they released their first album, Eternity. 

Jamie Harvill and Jeff and Beth Reinert are the band Father’s House. Jamie's music career spans many years, including writing for Integrity Music with acclaimed tunes such as Ancient of Days, Firm Foundation, Garments of Praise, and Because We Believe.  Jamie currently serves as music director for Bayou Sara Baptist Church.  He holds a Doctorate of Worship Studies, teaching online at Liberty University, the University of Mobile, and Trevecca University.  While Jeff has a long history playing in many bands over the years and leading worship in several Mobile churches, he also had a career with the United States District Court in Mobile for 33 years, retiring at the end of 2021. Upon retirement, he retooled and recorded some of his older tunes, and wrote several new ones.  Beth is an accomplished writer and story teller.  She has contributed to many Father's House song lyrics and her sweet voice is easily heard on many of the songs.

Jeff and Jamie reconnected in 2023 and wrote one song, which led to another, then several more until they had a full 10 song album. They spent a good portion of 2023 working on the project. All of their music is God-centered.  Half of the new album Eternity is upbeat rock, some cuts are a little country, and a couple are more thoughtful and worshipful.  Their goal is to glorify God and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Father's House second album is complete and being released song by song.  Jamie, Jeff, and Beth have been working on the material through the last year.  We have some really good songs that we hope you'll enjoy listening to, watching, and worshiping with.  We added a video element to our releases this time around.  You'll find videos on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.  We first released Happy To Be on 4/4/25.  The title track, Majestic, was released 5/2/25.  Sleeping Beauty is coming 6/6/25, and California to Alabama will drop on July 4th.  We'll release a song a month for several months to come.
