Don't look back over the past, Lord lead us on, yesterday's gone.
Trust the Lord to carry you through the open door in Eternity.
Jamie and Jeff first crossed paths back in 1986, cutting jingles in a Mobile, Alabama studio — a meeting that God would redeem decades later. They formed a band called Newman and produced an album entitled Children of His Kingdom in the late 80’s (not officially released). They got back together in 2023 as Father’s House.
Father’s House is the musical collaboration of Jamie Harvill and Jeff & Beth Reinert — a band rooted in friendship, faith, and the call to create songs that echo eternity.
Jamie’s music career spans many years taking him around the world playing as a young man, and then later deep into worship ministry and songwriting, penning enduring classics like Ancient of Days, Firm Foundation, Garments of Praise, and Because We Believe for Integrity Music. Today, Jamie holds a Doctorate in Worship Studies, serves as music director at Bayou Sara Baptist Church, and teaches online for Liberty University, the University of Mobile, and Trevecca University.
Jeff brings decades of musical experience, having played in numerous bands and led worship in several Mobile churches. For 33 years, he also faithfully served with the United States District Court in Mobile, retiring at the end of 2021. With retirement came a new chapter — the Lord stirred old songs, birthed new ones, and reignited Jeff’s passion for music. As he writes alongside Jamie and Beth, Jeff has poured countless hours into mastering modern music production techniques, and now navigates the wild terrain of today’s music promotion scene — learning how to share their message in a noisy world that still needs to hear the truth.
For years, Beth walked faithfully behind the scenes, the steady hand and gentle counsel behind Jeff’s creative calling. But like Esther for such a time as this, the Lord stirred her gifts into the open.
Drawing from a well of life’s trials, joys, and hard-earned wisdom, Beth began to pour lyrics and harmonies into their music. What started as a simple harmony part became a full-fledged voice, leading to a new band name. No longer just the Newman Brothers, the family expanded — Father’s House was born, a name honoring both her inclusion and the One who authors every note.
Beyond the stage, Beth has also been a light to families walking the difficult road of dementia. Both professionally and as an advocate, she has offered comfort, wisdom, and resources, ministering to those navigating the shadows with grace and truth.
Now, whether behind a mic or behind a hurting heart, Beth lives out her calling: to encourage, to uplift, and to glorify her Father’s house.
Jeff and Jamie reconnected in 2023 and wrote one song, which led to another, then several more until they had a full 10 song album. Beth chimed in with lyrics and vocals on several songs. They spent a good portion of 2023 working on the project. All of their music is God-centered. Half of the new album Eternity is upbeat rock, some cuts are a little country, and a couple are more thoughtful and worshipful. Blending rock, country, and thoughtful ballads. The album offers a range of sounds — all pointing heavenward.
Father’s House continues releasing music, with their second album Majestic rolling out as singles: Happy to Be, Majestic, Sleeping Beauty, and California to Alabama (releasing July 4, 2025). Each song bears the fingerprints of grace and the hope of eternity. Jamie, Jeff, and Beth have been working on the material through the last year. They added a video element to their releases this time around. You'll find videos on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
